This site exists to share feedback about doing business with Chris Costantini, owner of Adelfia Insurance in Torrance, CA. Chris demonstrated a lack of urgency, persistence, and effort when acting as a broker for my small business insurance. In more than two decades of having my own businesses, working with Chris has been more difficult, stressful, and expensive than any other insurance relationship I’ve had.
Being a small business owner requires wearing so many hats at once, and the only advantage to using a broker nowadays is the potential to take work from you and make you feel confident that you are carrying the appropriate coverages for the right cost. Chris did the opposite for me; failure to file my policy paperwork timely and correctly cost me thousands of dollars and hours and hours on the phone with my insurer trying to find answers to questions Chris either couldn’t or refused to answer.
My only goal with this website is save other business owners from choosing to engage with Chris Costantini and as a result losing time and money. Standing among my insurer who I pay and him as the broker, who also gets paid from my business, I somehow found myself powerless to correct the stressful situation in which I’ve been put. If you are shopping for small business insurance, you would benefit from a broker who has more experience and understanding of California regulations, standards, and practices.

From the Mouths of Babes…
Our two kids have had to listen to every phone call we’ve had over this debacle, which is many. And, every venting session after hanging up the phone following *yet another* depressingly aimless conversation with Chris Costantini.
After hearing his name around the house, she – being 11 – dubbed him “Chris Costant Weenie” to the whole household’s delight. After I regrettably-on-many-levels found his IG account and saw him soaking in hot tubs on the same day he’s ignoring urgent messages, more complaining ensued and a star comic strip was born. The first installment, of course, tells the tale of hot tubbin and priorities.
