I’ve never had to worry too much about which insurer I chose to work with. I am in a relatively low risk business category, don’t gross a huge amount annually, and in nearly 20 years of business I have never made a claim against my insurance.

Thus, it would seem insane that I would have had to be on the phone with my insurer for the last 6 months an average of an hour (if not more) per week. I have lost many hours of my life talking to customer service representatives simply because I made the mistake of working with Chris Costantini.

While he is the agency lead and the one whose name the policies are bound under, Chris rarely engages once you’re a customer. The office staff has been nice, but leave long lag times between responses and don’t seem to have the guidance from Chris to do things correctly. One important paper was not filed at the inception of my policy, which resulted in a domino effect of massive fees and premium increases. Months of promises claiming that the issue was a priority have led to no resolution; even the insurer themselves recommended I look for another agent as they questioned his understanding of California regulations.
